Trent M. Grissom joined Weaver, Bennett & Bland as an associate on January 5, 2009. Trent came to the firm from a general practice firm based in Rock Hill, SC. He is licensed to practice in both North and South Carolina. He has experience in Real Estate, Estate Planning, and Corporate Law, but focuses his practice primarily on Civil Litigation.

Trent was born in Henderson, NC and is a lifelong North Carolina resident. Tobacco farming was the major influence in his life growing up as both of his grandfathers were tobacco farmers. He grew up working on those farms and in the process, gained an appreciation for hard work and perseverance. Trent graduated from Southern Vance High School in 1994 and from the University of North Carolina in 1998.

After college, Trent spent five years working for IBM in Research Triangle Park before deciding to attend law school. While at Wake Forest University Law School, Trent was a member of the Moot Court team and served as a student member of the Career Services Advisory Board. He graduated in 2007 and immediately began practicing.

Trent presently lives in Charlotte with his wife, Sherry, and their son, Whitt.
